Dr. Ralph Saab

B. A. Sci Osteopathy M. Osteopathy

I have always wanted to help people and first started out planning to study convention medicine. Yet after much work experience I realised the way I wanted to help others wasn’t in a hospital setting but more to improve and increase one’s quality of life and Osteopathy helped me achieve this. I believe in order to enjoy life at it’s optimum, good health is necessary. We all can help ourselves to make sure it stays good in the first place! General physical exercise is a great start for this; and is my excuse to go hiking, abseiling and rock climbing (oh and high ropes course like Treetops)

I like to think people feel comfortable around me-feel free to have a conversation about anything and everything. Spending time with my family is very important to me and especially with my granddaughter. I love catching up with friends for a nice dinner and family outings.

Dr. Steven Saab

B. A, Applied Science in Podiatry

Since graduating from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor's Degree of Applied Science in Podiatry, Steven has worked in all areas of podiatry but has had a special interest in the biomechanics of the foot and leg. He is particularly passionate about sports biomechanics and footwear.

Steven has spent time at various hospitals and in multidisciplinary practices where he places an emphasis on a team approach to patient care. This has also given him extra insight on the mechanics of the body enabling him to better understand how a foot problem may influence the whole body.

This enables Steven to customise a treatment regime including:

  • Treatment of foot and ankle disorders, including skin and nail conditions (blisters, callous, ingrown toenails - conservative care and nail edge resection if appropriate).
  • Biomechanical causes of back, hip, knee, leg, ankle and foot pain Prescription of corrective foot orthotics (to fit sports and/or fashion shoes).
  • Advice on appropriate stretching / strengthening and training programs.
  • Advice on each individual specific requirement in running shoes / football boots and other sporting footwear as well as general footwear.
  • In his spare time Steven enjoys competitive basketball. Other interests include fencing, kickboxing, bush walking and volunteer work.
